Brief school history |
This year we are celebrating our 120th anniversary of the Campus. Our school was established in the 36th year of the Meijiera during the Japanese colonial period (1903 AD); located on Xidatu Street, it officially enrolled students the following year with only 98 students at the time. Subsequently, through the dedicated efforts of principals and faculty members, enduring countless hardships and overcoming numerous challenges, over the decades, it has grown to its present scale. The cumulative number of graduates has exceeded 103,000, among whom there are pillars of the nation and stalwarts of society, demonstrating the indispensable role of our institution in nurturing talent for the country and society. |
School environment |
The school is located near the renowned "Fengjia Night Market" in Taiwan's Taichung, adjacent to major transportation arteries. Despite being in the city center, the campus spans 3.4 hectares, adorned with lush greenery, earning it the title of the "Green Heart" of the urban area. Within the campus, there are amenities such as a 200-meter track, outdoor sports fields, indoor sports halls, indoor amusement halls, the most beautiful co-reading library in the city, a farm, and a butterfly garden, making it a beautiful and vibrant campus. |
School features |
